First Financial Bank, Agri Farm and Ranch Division, has an immediate opening for an Agriculture Loan Officer in Fort Collins, CO and the surrounding area.

This position is responsible for providing loans, in compliance with financial institution policies and procedures. Assists in supervising the daily operations in their assigned home office.

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Successful candidate must have agricultural background plus banking/loan experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Interviews loan applicants and orders credit reports. Requests specified information for loan application. Notifies applicant of loan decision. Corresponds with customers, applicants or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information. Recommends and outlines terms of loan. Informs prospective borrowers of loan commitments. Develops and maintains interest rate structure that is consistent with financial institution policies and is competitive with current market. Reviews developing law and regulations as they apply to loan agreements. Manages delinquent account files for the financial institution. Assists in training of Loan Assistant. Cross sells all bank services. Handles various department file maintenance in order to secure proper regulatory requirements. Maintains full knowledge of all computer programs utilized in the loan department. Other duties as assigned by management. Position also requires occasional travel to other locations to meet with potential and current clients. Business Development duties include gathering and analyzing data and making contacts with potential customers to provide new loan business to the Bank. Loan responsibilities include gathering the appropriate documents from a business to analyze its cash flows and business goals and determine if they meet the company's guidelines.
