Our client, a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of crop protection and specialty chemical products, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Territory Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to optimise sales and profitability of the diverse product portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

• Achievement of sales and profit goals for your territory 
• Seek out and secure new business opportunities
• Drive sales and business development
• Ability to negotiate at all levels
• Forecast, budget and inventory control
• Planning and time management
• Monitor competitor activity and customer trends
• Develop excellent working relationship with distributors and agents

You will be self-motivated, reliable, capable of working unsupervised with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. An understanding of agriculture complemented by a broader understanding of the crop protection industry would be seen as beneficial. Tertiary qualifications in agriculture or business would be well regarded.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
