About the role

We are looking for a Boom Spray Service Technician to join the growing team on a permanent, full time basis.

As a YP AG Boomspray Service Technician, your specialised technical knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers throughout South Australia. This role is responsible for providing quality support pre and post-delivery and service - repairs and maintenance - to a range of boom spray units, including our own from the Hardi and Agrifac range. While most of your work will be done on farm from our well-equipped service vehicles, travel throughout the state is required. Supported by the YP AG network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing services that will strengthen the growth of their business
• Providing quality pre and post-delivery support
• Performing routine repairs and maintenance
• Troubleshooting - diagnosing and determining faults

About you

• Have a Trade qualification as a Mechanic, Fitter or like
• Have a current unencumbered driver's licence
• Are flexible to travel to customers across South Australia
• Are experienced with welding and electrical fault-finding and know how to read electrical and hydraulic schematics to rectify issues
• Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future clients
• Are quality focused and can work independently
