Accepting a role with Elders means you will be joining a team ready to support and grow your career. Be part of a culture that has been in the making for more than 180 years, a culture so strong it is almost tangible. With such an iconic, essential business in the Australian landscape we are confident that you too will be proud to grow your career at Elders and wear the pink shirt.

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Officer to join the growing team on a permanent, full time basis.

The position involves dealing directly with clients, staff from our extensive branch network and Elders management.

  • Collections - Direct with clients, often involving high value transactions, with new debts falling due every day.
  • Managing Credit Limits - Reviewing and preparing submissions for limit increases, or assisting clients to work within their existing credit limit.
  • Producing Daily Reports

About you

  • Previous Commercial Credit experience - solid understanding of debt recovery processes.
  • A clear communicator - both verbally and in writing.
  • Sound MS Office skills.
  • Decisive - The ability to make decisions based on available data and take a firm stand.
  • Integrity - The ability to be consistently honest with yourself and others.
  • Managing Performance - The ability to monitor and maintain your own performance, and know when to escalate and discuss issues with your manager.
  • Interpersonal Flexibility - The ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of individuals.
