About the opportunity:

We are currently offering a great opportunity for a Field Service Electrician to join our Nutrien Water Somerset, TAS team.

You will provide high quality electrical services that exceed the expectations of Nutrien Water customers, whilst using modern electrical practices that enable the company’s products and systems to comply with relevant legislation and industry standards.

You will:

• Install electrical equipment such as gauges, lighting plants, switch boards, alternators and three phase power.
• Test, recondition and replace faulty alternators, generators, motors, and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries.
• Repair or replace faulty ignition, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps and switches
• Provide quoting on electrical installations relating to irrigators and assisting salesmen in submitting tenders and quotes
• Maintain compliance of Nutrien Water products and services with relevant industry legislation particularly the SAA Wiring Code and workplace safety standards;
• Establishing and maintaining the functional operation of electrical installations provided by Nutrien Water
• Promote safe working behaviours and standards

About You: 

To be successful, it is desirable if you can demonstrate:

• Experience in a similar role performing electrical work, installing and maintaining automation systems
• Electrical Trade Qualification
• You must be available to work on remote locations and outside standard hours when required
