This marketing company (export and domestic), lead the growing and marketing of Australia’s highest quality produce. Their farm-fresh crops are grown throughout the Sunraysia, region.  

About the role

From the farm to customer, this role will understand, coordinate and pass on knowledge of the key growing and marketing processes of our client.  By spending time with our growers on Farm and with our internal experts, you will ensure best farming and harvesting practises are adopted and put into action.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with growers on farm helping to increase their growing knowledge and developing their farming practises
• Convey market/retail relationship information to growers
• Liaise with customers and logistics team 
• Provide general administration support to the commercial team
• Advising managers of grower matters impacting their area of responsibility
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Education / Experience / Skills 

• Desirable – qualifications in Agribusiness, Horticultural or Farm Management or Marketing and Communications
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Knowledge of supply chain computer systems
• Strong negotiation skills
• Commercial business acumen
• Rural background
