Lead and drive the performance of our Ardlethan branch in this opportunity which is perfectly suited to an individual with strong business acumen looking to step into a leadership role, or an individual with a background in leading a team and managing sales performance.

A typical day in this role may look like:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the focus of your role will be to develop strong customer relationships with local rural producers to drive sales for a broad range of agricultural products and merchandise. In addition, your role will see you:

• Manage sales, profit, and operational performance within the branch
• Work with the BM to implement, communicate and drive operation strategies
• Proactively manage branch working capital including debtors, stock levels and capital usage
• Develop build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
• Work with Branch Manager to develop plans and budgets to ensure sales and profit activity is appropriate targeted
• Assist Branch Manager with oversight of sales teams in developing customer plans, initiatives and activities
• Support and coach staff in implementing their roles to improve financial performance

What we’ll love about you:

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong sales and business acumen ideally with a proven track record in sales of agricultural products. In addition, you will:

• Be self-motivated and driven to implement improvements in all areas of store operations
• Demonstrate success developing solid long-term partnerships with clients and other key stakeholders
• Be able to identify opportunities to develop new business.
• Forklift ticket and truck licence will be highly regarded but is not essential
• Full drivers’ licence is required.
