This marketing company (export and domestic), lead the growing and marketing of Australia’s highest quality produce. Their farm-fresh crops are grown throughout the Sunraysia, region.  

About the role

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will work as part of the Logistics Team to facilitate all freight activities of this horticultural marketing and export company.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Freight forwarders 
• Coordinating freight (including drivers) and liaising with sub-contractors
• ensure timely container releases and airline bookings
• Liaise with customers and others in the logistics team 
• Liaise with Truck drivers, transport companies and wharf cartage companies 
• Liaise with Internal and external warehouses to ensure consignments are loaded on time and comply with export protocol requirements 
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Education / Experience / Skills 

• A passion for and experience in Export and / or Domestic Logistics
• Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change 
• Able to work in a pressured and face paced work environment
• Commercial business acumen
