About the Company

This marketing company (export and domestic), lead the growing and marketing of Australia’s highest quality produce. Their farm-fresh crops are grown throughout the Sunraysia, region.  

About the role

You will assist with all our quality control practices from growing through to final dispatch of top-quality fruit to the market. Our purpose built, packing facility exceeds international QA accreditation for food safety and quality control. 

Responsibilities

• Assist farm manager to maintain quality standards throughout growth phases
• Assist farm manager and growers with crop management
• Liaise with labour hire providers to manage standards throughout harvest period
• Assist Technical Manager to manage and comply with MRL protocols
• Assist Technical Manager to ensure adherence to quality control and ethical standard compliance

Education / Experience / Skills 

• HACCP experience and qualifications
• Experience in food safety audit standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change 
• Good commercial acumen, time management and organisational skills
• Demonstrated team management skills.
