About the Company

Our client has invested significantly in the research and development of a range of fertilisers that can bring powerful benefits to farmers, developing regions, researchers, consumers and ultimately the environment.  They are vertically integrated throughout the value chain with ownership of the massive silicon resource as well as the latest modern manufacture facilities producing unique products leading through to joint go-to-market strategies. Plans are to develop into a multi-million tonne operation over the next few years.

About the role

The position reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of sales and market development for the range of Silicon Fertiliser products (granulated, powder and liquids).

Responsibilities

• Update and implement the current sales and marketing plan for the Territory
• Work with the Sales and Marketing Manager to develop the annual sales budget and identify the marketing tools and programs required to achieve the budget
• Manage and expand current Distributors to maximise on future sales
• Identify new opportunities for products and sales strategies to maimise sales.
• Work with the Technical Manager to position the product range
• Work with the Logistics Manager to effectively manage all logistical aspects 
• Manage current Commercial Trials to completion
• Maintain close relationships with key industry players in each country, including, university researchers, government agencies, distributors, corporate farmers and associations/groups to enable a comprehensive understanding of trends and opportunities

Desired Education / Experience / Skills 

• Tertiary education in an Agricultural Science (or related science)
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Territory agribusiness sector
• Experience in crop nutrition and/or fertilisers sales and marketing 
• Existing relationships with agricultural distributors and end-users in the Territory
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
