About the Company

Our client is family owned business operating for over 70 years as a market leader in the rural agricultural industry.  The business has a large customer and supply base operating throughout Northern Victoria. 

About the role

Provide accurate advice to key clients on farm management, and agronomic practices, which will add value to the sale of chemicals, fertilizer, and other products. Support clients farming enterprises and introduce techniques to enhance farm potential.

Responsibilities

• Providing agronomic advice and technical services to our clients both on farm and at store level 
• Targeting new clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input
• Assist the branch team with sales and technical support
• Maintain knowledge of leading-edge developments in key sales categories of Seed, Ag Chemicals, Plant nutrition and Fertilizers

Education / Experience / Skills 

• Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science or related field 
• Customer service and sales focused
• An understanding of the products, seasonal timings and general requirements of rural producers 
• Strong customer service, organisational, administrative and computer skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A passion for the industry
