We are currently seeking a Soybean, Corn, and Biologicals Product Manager in Winnipeg who has a passion for building and leading.  You will work with the BrettYoung team to maintain and to further develop the product portfolios that serve the needs of our grower and retailer customers in crop inputs markets across Western Canada and the Northern Plains states of the US. 

Role Description and Details

Working with all stakeholders and external partners, as the Product Manager you are responsible for the business planning within relevant product categories.  This includes management of traditional 4P marketing responsibilities like portfolio and product life cycle management, inventory controls, customer communications (print, digital, and social), market research, supplier relations, supply agreements, and sales/technical support.  You will also work with in-house and external seed production services to produce target volumes of seed products with specific quality parameters.

Skills & Education

A post-secondary education in Agriculture, Business Management/Marketing is preferred but consideration will be given to other relevant streams.  Strong candidates will also have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in sales, marketing and/or product management.  You believe in collaboration, excel at building relationships, and can work effectively within a strong team environment.  You are results oriented, highly organized and have strong time management skills.  Cropping and agricultural industry knowledge is essential, as is the ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally.
