Our client, a leading multinational research and manufacturing crop protection organisation, is on the lookout for an engaging and experienced Technical Specialist - Product Development; to be based within the South Island (location can be flexible). In this exciting role you’ll be conducting, co-ordinating, developing and managing field research trials for local and global projects as well as providing technical support, training, development and expertise to internal sales teams, customers and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Initiating and implementing field research programs within the South Island
• Provide internal technical support/insights to sales and marketing groups
• Conducting technical product training sessions for sales staff and growers
• Participation at industry field days, research days and workshops. 
• Build strong highly valued technical relationships with key identified contacts locally and across New Zealand

Education / Experience / Skills 

You’re a tertiary qualified Agricultural professional who brings extensive experience with scientific field trials. You’re knowledgeable about crop protection and driven by continuous improvement in field.

Proactive and results driven, you’re a natural communicator who brings the ability to form relationships that last. You will have a passion for reporting results to a diverse group of stakeholders in a way that is uncomplicated and offers strategic insight. You’re confident working on an autonomous basis as part of our wider Portfolio Solutions & our clients NZ Team.
