About the role

The successful candidate must be able to build constructive and effective relationships internally and externally with key customers and end users of our product ranges while converting the many sales opportunities through outstanding sales and commercial excellence. 



  • Managing a regional territory with a customer base across the Rural and Irrigation market segment.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to achieve increased sales and increased market share.
  • Be an active senior member of the NSW Sales team and contribute to the wider strategic direction of the business.
  • Establish & maintain effective and influential relationships with key customers within the NSW Irrigation, Rural and general distributor market
  • Deliver quality reporting against a range of key customer KPIs via our CRM system on a weekly and monthly basis that supports the agreed regional and national sales activity. 
  • Successfully secure and manage key project activity within the NSW market, working closely with all internal stakeholders particularly the Projects and Customer Service Administration teams 
  • Introduce a range of value-added initiatives within the region to enhance market share, secure targets and deliver improved margin returns.
  • Monitor a range of monthly key customer data / sales reports supporting sales trends and market activity including accurate sales forecasting.


Education / Experience / Skills 

  • Strong knowledge of the regional NSW Rural & Irrigation market
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role;
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Professional, can-do approach to sales.
  • Requirement for travel within the state possibly up to 30% of time.
