Qualifications & experience

We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join the team, working closely with our distribution network, contractors and farmers, nurturing existing relationships to build volume and sustainable growth. 

 

Based in WA and having the flexibility to travel regionally, you’ll be responsible for an extensive territory.  As the successful candidate, you have:

  • A blend of account management experience, a positive attitude and commercial smarts
  • Hands on experience with the agriculture industry, and ideally a working knowledge of agricultural equipment
  • Sound numeracy and business acumen, enabling you to think and act in terms of business outcomes
  • Motivated to hunt for new business opportunities, whilst also able to flex and grow existing accounts


Relevant post secondary or tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Agronomy is desirable but not essential.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

The role requires some intrastate travel, meeting new and existing customers. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Strengthening & growing relationships
  • Identifying customer needs
  • Developing account plans & call program
  • Identifying opportunities & introducing new products
  • Organising technical and promotional activities & maintaining regular contact
