We are well positioned for growth, and we’re currently offering a great opportunity for a Trainee Livestock to join our Bourke team to support our high-performing livestock sales team.

This is a great opportunity for a person passionate about livestock and keen to pursue a career as a Livestock Agent, with the opportunity to work and learn from our livestock agency business in Bourke.

Relocation support provided for the relevant candidate if required.

A typical day in this varied role may look like:

This is an entry level role into the business and offers successful candidates the chance to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the livestock activity while obtaining a nationally recognised qualification. Training will be offered in key areas including:

• Providing professional service and support to all clients, suppliers, and the business
• Safe handling of animals
• Identifying customers’ needs and ensuring these are met during and after the sale
• Improve the return from livestock activities through by marketing the full portfolio of livestock marketing products and services offered by Nutrien Ag Solutions

What we’ll love about you:

Applicants must have a strong desire to learn and succeed in the livestock industry, excellent customer service skills, and strong negotiation abilities and will also demonstrate:

• Completion of Year 12
• Minimum of at least 12 months working in the agriculture or similar industry
• Current motor vehicle license
• Demonstrate initiative and be keen to learn
• Reliable with a good work ethic
