Maximise logistical efficiency through the delivery of warehouse best practice processes, supportive leadership, and strategic planning.

In this varied role, a typical day may look like:

The focus of this role is to lead our team of warehouse and distribution staff to ensure the efficient storage, management, and movement of inventory both into and out of the warehouse. In this role you will:

• Ensure the achievement of the service level agreement (SLA) targets around DIFOT, inventory efficiencies, cost management, quality service and high safety standards
• Drive safety and compliance across all warehouse operation functions
• Oversee and integrate best practices relating to accurate and timely outbound pick process of daily outwards moving consignments ensuring daily targets are obtained both accurately and efficiently
• Manage the receipt of a constant flow of inwards goods (both container deliveries and palletised) ensuring goods are receipted and put away in an accurate and timely manner to avoid missed sales opportunities
• Maintain and drive inventory accuracy
• Manage departmental operating costs, ensuring resource planning is within budget and meets workload forecasts
• Build and promote a team environment focused on engaging the team to work collaboratively, efficiently, and accurately to achieve the overall company objectives

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years warehouse management experience and a passion for the agricultural industry. In addition, you will bring with you:

• Good understanding of computer-based inventory control
• Forklift and drivers’ licence
• Ideally Agsafe accreditation
• Good judgement with the ability to think creatively and make decisions
• Problem resolution capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills.
